Badian is the managing director of Yard and also represents Yard on the boards of its portfolio companies.
Badian has experience across all aspects of private equity from origination to exits. He is an admitted attorney of more than 20 years standing is also an admitted solicitor of the senior courts of England and Wales. He has wide experience ranging from private equity deal structuring, banking and finance and corporate governance. He has advised on mergers and acquisition transactions across multiple sectors ranging from technology, energy, infrastructure, property and pharmaceutical. Additionally, he has wide strategy and management experience.
Badian is also an associate member of the South African Institute of Financial Markets and serves on the Investigations Committee of the Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors in South Africa, and the board of Democracy Works Foundation.
